2 cups cooked, mashed pinto beans
2 cup finely diced apples
1-cup sugar
¼ cup butter
1 egg, beaten
1-cup flour
1-teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1-teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon cloves
½ teaspoon allspice
2 teaspoons vanilla
1-cup raisins
½ cup chopped nuts
Cream together the sugar and butter. Add the egg and beans. Mix together the dry ingredients and add to the creamed mixture. Add the apples, vanilla, raisins and nuts.
Grease the sides and bottom of a pan. Pour the cake mixture into the pan. Bake at 375*F. for 45 minutes. Serve with applesauce, cool whip or pudding.
