Best Cornbread Ever

¾ cup flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

2 teaspoons baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon sugar

1 cup corn meal

1 egg

¼ cup oil

3 rounded tablespoons mayonnaise

1½ cups buttermilk

Combine all ingredients and mix by hand. This should be kinda soupy. Grease one black iron skillet. Heat skillet before pouring mixture in. If it’s not soupy add more buttermilk. Bake at 425*F for 25 to 30 minutes or until nice and brown. Add more sugar if you like sweet cornbread.
